Application of 50mm Ceramic Pall Ring Distillation Tower

Working Principle of Ceramic Pall Ring Distillation Tower

Ceramic Pall Ring Gas-Liquid Mass Transfer Process: In the distillation tower, the rising steam and the descending liquid are fully contacted and mass transferred on the surface of the ceramic Pall ring packing. The volatile components in the steam diffuse into the liquid, while the non-volatile components in the liquid diffuse into the steam. Through multiple gas-liquid equilibrium and mass transfer processes, the components in the mixture are separated.

Ceramic Pall Ring Separation Process: The raw liquid enters the distillation tower from an appropriate position, flows downward under the action of gravity, and contacts the rising steam in countercurrent. In the packing layer, the gas and liquid phases continuously exchange heat and mass, so that the volatile components are gradually enriched in the steam and the non-volatile components are gradually enriched in the liquid. The distillate with a high content of volatile components is obtained at the top of the tower, and the residual liquid with a high content of non-volatile components is obtained at the bottom of the tower.

 Advantages of Ceramic Pall Rings

Ceramic pall rings have high separation efficiency: The special structure of the 50mm ceramic pall ring makes the gas-liquid mass transfer more sufficient, can achieve higher separation efficiency, can separate the components in the mixture more thoroughly, and improve the purity and quality of the product.

Ceramic pall rings have large operating flexibility: they can maintain stable operating performance within a large gas-liquid load range, have strong adaptability to changes in feed volume, feed composition and operating conditions, and when the production load changes, there is no need to significantly adjust the equipment parameters to ensure the normal operation of the distillation tower.

Ceramic pall rings have significant energy effects: due to their low fluid resistance, they reduce energy consumption in the distillation process, reduce the use of steam and cooling water, reduce production costs, and also meet the requirements of energy conservation and environmental protection.

Ceramic pall rings have a long service life: ceramic pall rings have good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Under normal operating conditions, they can operate stably for a long time, reduce the frequency of equipment maintenance and replacement, and reduce the maintenance cost of equipment.
